Strike of Finnish postal workers disrupts mail exchange with Finland
Finnish postal operator Posti has announced that the strike which started today morning will affect mail exchange with Finland during the following week.
The strike of the Finnish Post and Logistics Union (PAU) takes places from 19 to 25 November. During that time, there will be no mail sorting and delivery in Finland. The delivery in Finland is delayed and this applies to both inbound and outbound letters and parcels.

In Pärnu, the postal codes of some addresses located on Kodara, Savi, Supeluse and Villa streets will change.

The stamp will be launched on the first rally day, 4 September, and from 30 July the stamp and envelope can be pre-ordered from the e-store at pood.omniva.ee. Omniva has automatically extended the storage terms of parcels at the post offices until 12 May so people have enough time to pick them up. On 13 May the parcels that have not been picked up over a longer period will be shipped back to the sender.
