Charlie Viikberg is the new CFO of Eesti Post

The public competition for Eesti Post member of the management board and chief financial officer ended on 10 December. The Supervisory Board approved Charlie Viikberg as a member of the management board and chief financial officer.
 
During the competition, the Supervisory Board obtained confirmation that with Viikberg's help the organisation is capable of finding additional efficiency within the company. This will help the company to continue providing excellent service to clients in the face of tightening competition in the future.
 
According to Viikberg, he was attracted to Eesti Post by the challenge of how to make the traditional company function sustainably in the rapidly developing and changing market.
 
AS Eesti Post, which uses the Omniva brand, is a state-owned company that is under the domain of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communication. The company offers postal, parcel and information business and international transit services. In addition to parent company AS Eesti Post, the group includes AS Maksekeskus, Lithuanian subsidiary UAB Omniva LT, Latvian subsidiary SIA Omniva and related company OÜ Post11. From January 2021, the fintech services will be provided by Eesti Post's new subsidiary Finbite OÜ.
