Kaida Kauler to lead Omniva postal business
Joining Omniva in April is Kaida Kauler, who will be heading up the company’s postal business. As such, she will also join the management board of the company alongside its heads of finance and parcel business and chairman of the management board Ansi Arumeel – who says it was Kauler’s years of management experience that spoke in her favour. “Here at Omniva our aim is to offer the best possible postal services and to ensure the sustainability of the business,” he explained. “Kaida has a clear vision of the future of the postal business and the ambition, background and personal qualities to realise it.”
Kauler sees a great deal of potential in the 100-year-old business. “I want people in Estonia and our own employees here in Omniva to be happy with the postal network,” she said.
In February 2013 Kauler took up the post of head of the state-owned AS Metrosert. Before that she served as both a member and the chairman of the management board of Elektriraudtee and as a member of the management board of the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund. She has an MBA in Strategic Management from the Estonian Business School and is currently obtaining her Master’s degree in the Faculty of Law at the University of Tartu. She has also trained professionally in France and China.
Current head of the postal business and member of the management board Mari Allese will be going on maternity leave in April.
