Omniva to open call centre in Jõgeva in the spring

In the upcoming spring, Omniva will open a call centre in Jõgeva, where customer phone calls from all across Estonia will be answered. The opening of the centre will create 21 new jobs in Jõgeva.

According to Martin Luts, Omniva’s Chief Operational Officer, a more stable labour market allows keeping focus on client satisfaction and maintaining long-term customer relations. “Moving the call centre from Tallinn to Jõgeva allows for greater contribution into the development of our employees to offer client-centred solutions,” explained Luts.

The new location for the centre was chosen after a thorough analysis, wherein all Estonian county centres were initially considered. The final decision fell in favour of Jõgeva due to its optimal distance from Tallinn, good selection of transport connections, and the state of the labour market.

According to Luts, companies all over Estonia have the opportunity to offer employment outside Tallinn. “Modern solutions no longer tie many jobs to a particular city. Because of that, Omniva can invest into the developments of labour markets in several regions,” noted Luts. In his words, as a large company, Omniva is able to offer a secure and developing work environment. “21 new jobs in the service sector undoubtedly send a very positive message to local residents seeking employment in Jõgeva County,” added Luts.

The move will not change the customer service phone number or times of service. Neither will it cause interruptions in the work of the call centre. Customer phone calls are answered at the number 661 6616 on Monday–Friday at 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., Saturday–Sunday and on national holidays at 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
