20.11.2020 It is no longer necessary to be at home to receive courier parcels
From 30 November, couriers will start handing over parcels using a simplified procedure upon agreement with the client. This service change means that if the addressee is not home, they can agree for the courier to leave the parcel in a safe location protected from the elements, e.g. on the terrace, or hand it over to a neighbour. 22.10.2020 Omniva transfers its entire parcel machine network to its own software
According to Omnivas' Head of Business customer segment Evert Rööpson, the Omniva parcel machine network has so far been working in parallel on two software. "The older generation parcel machines work using the Polish parcel machine Integer software and the newer machines use software developed by Omniva," Rööpson explained. "Due to this, the user experience of different parcel machines differs – the new machines are faster, more user-friendly and provide better solutions. The post was first shared by an anonymous Lithuanian Facebook account without any additional information and from there it spread across social media in several countries.
