Submit your ideas for new stamps!

Once again, Omniva invites you to share your ideas for next year’s postage stamps. Which Estonian political, historical, cultural, or other important events deserve to be captured on postage stamps? Suggestions can be submitted until the end of September.

When it comes to anniversaries or events, stamps usually celebrate major milestones such as 100, 125, 150, etc. Presidents and Olympic champions are usually the only living people depicted on stamps.

In 2022, for example, stamps were issued to commemorate the 700th anniversary of the Tallinn Town Hall, as well as the Estonian Tennis Association, which celebrated its 100th anniversary. We also celebrated the 150th anniversary of the birth of Johan Pitka and the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Estonia and the US. We issued the ‘Glory to Ukraine’ stamp as a message of peace. In addition to the jubilarians, the Tartu St Mary’s Church, the Eurasian woodcock (the Bird of the Year), and the curly birch have also been put on stamps. For inspiration, you can check out our range of stamps in Omniva’s e-shop.

We accept suggestions until the end of September. All the proposals received will be reviewed by Omniva’s Emission Committee and selected for next year’s postage stamp plan.
