A silver postage stamp shall be issued for the centenary of the Republic of Estonia

The newly begun year of 2018 marks the centenary of the Republic of Estonia. On 22 February 2018, Omniva shall issue a unique pure silver postage stamp displaying the coat of arms of Estonia for the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia. The stamp has been designed by the recognised stamp designer Indrek Ilves.

The nominal price of the extraordinary postage stamp is 10 euros. The dimensions of the postage stamp are 28x38 mm and it weighs 1.2 grams, all postage stamps have been enclosed in transparent plastic protective capsules. The first few hundred centenary stamps shall be wrapped in an elegant gift box.

“It is the first pure silver postage stamp to be issued in Estonia and since the date of its issue – the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia – is symbolic, the stamp is perfect as a special memento or token either for yourself or to give as a gift,” said Omniva’s Head of Postal Services Area Mari Allese.
