UPDATED: Places where you cannot currently send or receive money via Western Union
Due to imposed sanctions, restrictions, or non-compliance with certain requirements, Western Union services cannot currently be used in some regions.
Sending or receiving money via Western Union is currently not possible from/to the following places: Cuba, Crimea/Sevastopol, Iran, North Korea (officially Democratic People's Republic of Korea), Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, Russia, and Belarus.
Additionally, from July 13th, the service will not be available also for the following locations:
Afghanistan, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Donetsk, Luhansk; Kherson; Zaporizhzhia, Egypt, Guinea / Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Iraq, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Myanmar (Burma), Nicaragua, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestinian Authority, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Transnistria, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Yemen, Zimbabwe.
