UPDATED: Sending mail to Ukraine is currently impaired

From 6 November 2023, there will be transport standstills at the Polish-Ukrainian border due to a blockade by Polish road carriers. The situation is hampering the usual transport of postal items to Ukraine, and due to this there may be delays in their delivery.

Due to the inability of the Polish authorities to ensure the transport of mail through Polish border crossings and the ongoing blockade of remaining vehicles, delivery times for postal items are significantly longer than usual.

Omniva will continue to receive parcels and will deliver them to Ukraine as soon as possible, but in the current situation it must be taken into account that delivery times may even be up to four weeks longer than usual.

The situation should be resolved by 3 January at the latest, when the blockade of truck drivers at the border is expected to end.
