Snowy Weather Conditions May Disrupt Mail Delivery
Recent snowy and challenging weather conditions may cause disruptions in mail delivery and, in some areas, delays in postal shipments. Mail delivery is particularly difficult in smaller settlements, residential areas, and rural regions where access may betemporarily restricted.
Ensuring Safe Postal Delivery
We kindly ask customers, where possible, to ensure that postal couriers have safe access to mailboxes and that movement is not hindered by difficult snow and road conditions. It is also important that, when delivering parcels or letters, couriers are able to stop their vehicles safely in a cleared parking area.
In addition, we ask that stairways and access paths are kept as free of snow and ice as possible to reduce the risk of slipping and falling and to ensure the smooth and safe delivery of mail.
Omniva is doing everything possible to ensure that mail reaches recipients as soon as conditions allow. Delivery routes and schedules will be adjusted as needed based on the situation on the ground.
