Sipsik commemorative coins are available again
As of 15 June, the Sipsik commemorative coins are once again available in the Omniva e-store. Customers can purchase both individual coins and coin rolls, while coin cards will no longer be available for sale.
The Sipsik €2 commemorative coin issued by Eesti Pank on 5 June proved extremely popular, and a large number of orders were placed through the Omniva e-store within a short period of time. As a result, Omniva temporarily paused sales in order to focus on processing and dispatching existing orders.
As the processing of previously submitted orders is still ongoing, the fulfilment and dispatch of Sipsik coin orders may take longer than usual. We kindly ask customers to take this into account when placing an order. We apologise to customers who have not yet received their order and would like to assure them that orders are being processed in the order they were received.
On 5 June, Eesti Pank issued a special-design €2 commemorative coin dedicated to Sipsik, one of the most beloved characters in Estonian children’s literature. €2 commemorative coins are circulation coins whose national side has been replaced with a special design to commemorate an event or theme of national or European significance.
