Rapla, Võru, and Viljandi Post Offices to Relocate to Distribution Centers in September
Starting from September, the post offices in Rapla, Võru, and Viljandi will operate from new locations within Omniva’s distribution centers.
Rapla Post Office will be open at its new location – Omniva Rapla Distribution Center at Koidu 20 – from September 17. The current location at Tallinna 17 will remain open until September 12. The post office will be closed from September 13 to 16 due to inventory relocation. The distance between the old and new locations is 900 meters.
Võru Post Office will be open at its new location – Omniva Võru Distribution Center at Vilja 14b – from September 24. The current location at Kagukeskus, Kooli 6, will remain open until September 19. The post office will be closed from September 20 to 23 due to inventory relocation. The distance between the old and new locations is 500 meters.
Viljandi Post Office will be open at its new location – Omniva Viljandi Distribution Center at Reinu põik 7 – from October 1. The current location at Uku Center will remain open until September 26. The post office will be closed on September 29 and 30 due to inventory relocation. During the transition period, Omniva will offer free personalized postal services to all residents of Viljandi city.
All regular postal services will continue to be available at the new locations: sending and receiving parcels, purchasing stamps and packaging, making payments, and subscribing to periodicals. The post offices will be open on weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM.
The integration of county post offices with distribution centers is part of the 2025–2026 postal network changes, aimed at aligning postal services in Estonia with evolving societal needs and utilizing Omniva’s infrastructure and workforce more cost-effectively.
