Last Chance to Send a Letter to Santa – Omniva Accepts Letters Until December 15

Since mid-November, Omniva has offered children the opportunity to send their Christmas wishes or thoughts by post to Santa Claus. So far, 949 letters have already arrived. To ensure Santa’s reply reaches the mailbox by Christmas Eve, the letter must be sent no later than the evening of December 15.

“If you haven’t sent your letter to Santa yet, now is the last chance! If the letter reaches Omniva’s orange mailbox by the evening of December 15, Omniva’s elves can make sure Santa’s reply is sent on time. Many letters have been sent this year, but many lack the sender’s address. Therefore, please make sure to include your address on the letter, Santa won’t know where to send his reply,” said Omniva’s Head of Communications Madiken Oja.

“This year, the abundance of drawings in the letters stands out. To Santa’s great delight, children have put in a lot of effort, and in addition to gift wishes, many beautiful drawings have been sent,” Oja added.

How to send a letter to Santa:

  • Put the child’s letter in an envelope.

  • Write “SANTA CLAUS”  or „JÕULUVANA“ as the recipient on the envelope.

  • Attach a suitable domestic postage stamp.

  • Write the sender’s address on the back of the envelope.

  • Drop the letter into an Omniva orange mailbox. You can find mailbox locations HERE.

Omniva’s elves will make sure Santa receives the letters and sends replies to children, so they arrive before the holidays.

“Although fewer paper letters are sent nowadays, writing to loved ones during Christmas is still important. In fact, one-third of all letters for the year are sent during Christmas. Now that Christmas is just around the corner, it’s worth posting that letter to Santa quickly,” Oja emphasized.

Omniva has been delivering Santa’s replies to letters for the fourth year in a row. Writing a letter is a great way to teach children how to send mail using paper, an envelope, and a stamp. Santa’s replies are sent back to those letters that include the sender’s address.
