Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s 100th Anniversary Stamp to Be Issued Tomorrow

On April 5, Omniva will release a postage stamp to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The stamp features the Chamber’s iconic headquarters, located in Tallinn’s Old Town at Toom-Kooli 17. The design was created by Kaarel Kukk.
The Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was founded in 1925 to foster cooperation among Estonian entrepreneurs and support the country’s economic development.
“The stamp being issued tomorrow is a valuable addition to the collection theme ‘100-Year-Old Institutions of Estonia,’ which highlights the century-long contribution of key support structures to our society,” said Omniva’s Head of Philately, Hannes Nagel. “Entrepreneurship and the umbrella organizations that support it have always played a significant role in shaping the nation’s economy and regional policy.”
Nagel added that several other countries, including Finland, Bolivia, Germany, India, and France, have previously issued similar stamps dedicated to business and chambers of commerce.
The anniversary stamp is priced at €1.30 and is suitable for domestic postage within Estonia. The commemorative stamp has a limited print run of 15,000 copies. The stamp, First Day Cover, and information card will be available in Omniva’s online store and at post offices across Estonia. The official First Day Stamp will be used at the Tallinna Kaubamaja post office.
In 2025, Omniva will issue 30 stamps celebrating significant national and societal events. Omniva’s stamps are printed at Vaba Maa printing house, using FSC-certified paper to ensure responsible forestry practices.
