Kuressaare Post Office Moves to a New Address in Early November
Starting from 5 November, the Kuressaare Post Office will be open at its new location – Omniva’s Kuressaare distribution center at Tallinna Street 61.
The post office at the current rented premises at Tallinna Street 19a will remain open until 31 October. On 3–4 November, the post office will be closed due to relocation of equipment.
The distance between the old and new locations is 950 meters.
At the new location, customers will continue to have access to all regular postal services: sending and receiving parcels, buying stamps and packaging, making payments, and ordering periodicals. The post office will be open on weekdays for eight hours a day – from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The integration of regional post offices with distribution centers is part of the postal network changes planned for 2025–26. The aim is to align postal services in Estonia with society’s evolving needs and to use Omniva’s infrastructure and workforce more cost-effectively.
