Andre Veskimeister will become Head of Parcels Business at Omniva

On 5 November, Andre Veskimeister will begin working at Omniva, assuming the position of the Head of Parcels Business. Alongside the Head of Postal Services, Head of Finance, and the Chairman of the Board, the Head of Parcels Business is part of the company’s management board.
According to Ansi Arumeel, Chairman of Omniva’s Management Board, the main factors contributing to Veskimeister’s appointment to the position were his experience in the volatile and competitive media business and management experience across three countries. ‘The media industry has gone through great changes, much like the postal world. I believe that Andre’s experience and customer-oriented approach will help to take the parcels business to new heights,’ said Arumeel.
Veskimeister said that Omniva is a constantly changing and innovative enterprise that is shaping the future of its business segment. ‘I am convinced that our activities in the next few years will allow continuing the trend of innovation and investing the increasing profit into the long-term success of Omniva,’ he added.
Veskimeister will become Head of Parcels Business, an area comprising five units, including the business units of Omniva Latvia and Omniva Lithuania.
Starting from February 2018, Veskimeister has been the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Ekspress Grupp; since June 2017, he has been the CEO of Ekspress Meedia. In the past, he has worked as the Chief Innovation Officer and Member of the Management Board of Ekspress Grupp, CEO and Chief Innovation Officer of Ülemiste City, and Chief Finance Officer of Enterprise Estonia. Veskimeister has graduated from the Estonian Business School in business administration.
