Inviting all kids to draw! Omniva to release postage stamps with kid’s drawings on them

In order to celebrate the 100th birthday of the Republic of Estonia, Omniva, in cooperation with Estonia100 and the ERR Lastejaam, is organising a drawing competition “My Gift to Estonia”. In September, three of the best drawings submitted to the competition will be put on real postage stamps.

According to Katre Uibomäe, Head of the Marketing and e-Channels Department, the drawing competition is a spirited, yet dignified way to celebrate the country’s birthday. “What could be nicer that thousands of children drawing gifts for the Republic of Estonia? ERR Lastejaam, the organising team of Estonia100 and Omniva are cooperating to give Estonia, a present, as a memento of this momentous event, on behalf of our children – the postage stamp “My Gift to Estonia”, explained Uibomäe.

The participants are divided into three age groups: 0–6-year-olds, children aged 7–11 and youngsters aged 12–16. Three winners are selected by a jury and public voting; the three winning drawings will be put on real postage stamps.
In order to participate in the competition, send your drawings to the official post office of the drawing contest at Pallasti 28, 10001 Tallinn, by 1 May at the latest. Be sure to include the phrase "My Gift to Estonia" on the envelope.

The winner of the competition will be announced on 1 June on the International Children’s Day.
