Joona Saluveer starts as the new chairperson of the management board

Today, on 3^rd of April, Joona Saluveer started as the new chairman of the board of Omniva.

Saluveer said that Omniva’s mission is to make e-business as simple and common for both - consumers and companies. “It is a part of Omniva’s strategy for 2020 and we’re striving for it. I wish that Omniva would be in the mind of the people for our innovative and convenient solutions, helpful staff and excellent customer service, not for an overdue parcel,” said Saluveer.

Joona Saluveer has been the head of Omniva’s Latvian business unit since 2012. He has also helped to create and expand Omnivas Latvian and Lithuanian parcel machine network.

Before Omniva, he was working in Lithuania as the head of various Estonian enterprises, such as Prike and Stokker. Saluveer has a master’s degree in business administration from Tartu University and a bachelor’s degree from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.

The Supervisory Board of AS Eesti Post gathered on 16 February, and chose Joona Saluveer as the new chairperson of the management board. The employment contract of the chairperson of the management board has been concluded for a period of five years.
