Disturbances in tracking postal packages in the United States
According to a recent notification from the United States Postal Service (USPS), it will no longer be providing information about the status of registered letter items that are on the U.S. territory.
USPS will not be sending status information about postal packages to the international system of tracking postal packages anymore; therefore, Omniva cannot publish that information on its website either.
No post company is legally required to share information about the status of packages.
This USPS decision affect 132 countries, including post companies and their clients in 30 member states of PostEurop.
Omniva is conducting negotiations with U.S. Post in order to solve this situation and enable its clients to track their packages again.

03.08.2020To improve the postal service, Eesti Post is changing some postal codes in Tallinn and Pärnu cities from 1 October. In Tallinn, certain postal codes in the City Centre, Northern Tallinn, Kristiine, Haabersti, Mustamäe, Lasnamäe, Pirita and Nõmme districts will change. In Pärnu, the postal codes of some addresses located on Kodara, Savi, Supeluse and Villa streets will change.

30.07.2020To celebrate the first ever WRC event held in Estonia, Eesti Post releases a rally-themed WRC Rally Estonia stamp and a first day envelope. The stamp will be launched on the first rally day, 4 September, and from 30 July the stamp and envelope can be pre-ordered from the e-store at pood.omniva.ee. The pre-ordered products will be shipped to the buyers from 4 September.

Eesti Post bases the assessment on outstanding design, distinct message and suitability of the solution for direct mail. More than 70 clients used direct mail in May, sending out 150 different direct mail items.

07.05.2020Parcels that have been waiting to be picked up at the post offices will be there until Tuesday. Omniva has automatically extended the storage terms of parcels at the post offices until 12 May so people have enough time to pick them up. On 13 May the parcels that have not been picked up over a longer period will be shipped back to the sender.

To make it easier to send Christmas greetings this year, temporary Christmas card post boxes have been installed in the most frequented post offices as well as in shopping centres. As a new feature this year, Christmas cards can also be mailed aboard trains.
